Murat Barışık

Born in Kadıköy in 1986, Murat Barışık earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from Doğuş University between 2006 and 2010. Developing an early interest in capital markets during his university years, he went on to obtain his Advanced Capital Market Activities License and Derivatives License from the Capital Markets Board of Türkiye. He later completed his Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance at Maltepe University (2010–2012) and is currently pursuing his Doctorate in the same field.
Mr. Barışık began his professional career in 2009 at Ata Online within the Investment Center Department and continued his tenure in the same corporate group at Ata Investment, where he ultimately served as Deputy General Manager.
Alongside his executive responsibilities, he has frequently appeared on television business channels, as well as in newspapers and financial magazines, sharing market insights and commentary. He is also a regular guest speaker at universities and industry events, where he lectures on capital markets and investment strategies.
Within his previous organizations, Mr. Barışık has served as an internal trainer, conducting professional development sessions for employees. Passionate about innovation and entrepreneurship, he provides financial mentorship and support to startups and early-stage ventures.
He is also highly active on social media, regularly producing market commentary and analysis through YouTube videos, live broadcasts, and posts on X (Twitter), where he engages directly with investors and followers by responding to their questions.
From December 2022 to January 2024, he held the position of Deputy General Manager responsible for Sales and Marketing at Tera Investment.
Outside of his professional life, Mr. Barışık enjoys golf, chess, and reading—particularly in the fields of philosophy and economics. He is a member of several sports and philosophical associations and maintains a collection of historical stocks and fixed-income securities. A father of two, he values spending time with his family and close friends, and also has a keen interest in gastronomy.
