Kemal Akkaya
Chairman of the Board
Born in Adana in 1974, Kemal Akkaya holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Business Administration. He began his professional career in 1997 at Oyak Investment Securities Inc., where he served as an Assistant Specialist. Over the years, he advanced through various roles, including Investment Specialist, Deputy Investment Manager, and ultimately Investment Manager, serving in these capacities until 2015.
With over 20 years of experience in the capital markets, Mr. Akkaya also brings valuable expertise in venture capital investments as an angel investor. He holds both the Advanced Capital Market License and the Derivatives License issued by the Capital Markets Board of Türkiye.
Murat Barışık
CEO & Vice Chairman of the Board
Born in Kadıköy in 1986, Murat Barışık earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from Doğuş University between 2006 and 2010. Developing an early interest in capital markets during his university years, he went on to obtain his Advanced Capital Market Activities License and Derivatives License from the Capital Markets Board of Türkiye. He later completed his Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance at Maltepe University (2010–2012) and is currently pursuing his Doctorate in the same field.
Mr. Barışık began his professional career in 2009 at Ata Online within the Investment Center Department and continued his tenure in the same corporate group at Ata Investment, where he ultimately served as Deputy General Manager.
Alongside his executive responsibilities, he has frequently appeared on television business channels, as well as in newspapers and financial magazines, sharing market insights and commentary. He is also a regular guest speaker at universities and industry events, where he lectures on capital markets and investment strategies.
Within his previous organizations, Mr. Barışık has served as an internal trainer, conducting professional development sessions for employees. Passionate about innovation and entrepreneurship, he provides financial mentorship and support to startups and early-stage ventures.
He is also highly active on social media, regularly producing market commentary and analysis through YouTube videos, live broadcasts, and posts on X (Twitter), where he engages directly with investors and followers by responding to their questions.
From December 2022 to January 2024, he held the position of Deputy General Manager responsible for Sales and Marketing at Tera Investment.
Outside of his professional life, Mr. Barışık enjoys golf, chess, and reading—particularly in the fields of philosophy and economics. He is a member of several sports and philosophical associations and maintains a collection of historical stocks and fixed-income securities. A father of two, he values spending time with his family and close friends, and also has a keen interest in gastronomy.
Gökay Yılmaz
Board Member & Deputy General Manager
Gökay Yılmaz graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, with a degree in Business Administration, specializing in Accounting and Finance, in 1997. He later continued his academic studies at Marmara University’s Institute of Social Sciences in the Economic Policy master’s program and subsequently earned an MBA in Finance and Business Management from Yeditepe University in the 2002–2003 academic year.
Mr. Yılmaz began his professional career in 1997 at Oyak Investment Securities Inc., where he served in the Audit Board as Assistant Inspector, Inspector, and Chief Inspector. From 2013 to 2023, he held the position of Director of Internal Audit Systems at Halk Investment Securities Inc., overseeing the Internal Control, Audit, Risk Management, and Compliance departments.
In 2023, he joined Gedik Investment Securities Inc. as Head of Internal Systems, while also serving as a Board Member at several publicly listed companies and as a Member of the Borsa İstanbul Disciplinary Committee.
Mr. Yılmaz joined the Bulls Group in 2024, assuming the role of Deputy General Manager (CFO/COO) at Bulls Yatırım Securities Inc., responsible for Financial Affairs, Operations, and Financial Control. He later served as Board Member, Vice Chairman, and Acting General Manager at Bulls Portfolio Management. He currently continues to serve as a Member of the Board of Directors at Bulls Yatırım Securities Inc.
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Mr. Yılmaz also holds multiple professional licenses, including Independent Audit (KGK), Capital Market Activities Level 3 (Advanced License), Derivatives, Credit Rating, Independent Audit, and Corporate Governance Rating licenses.
He is married and the father of two children.
